History
Our centre started serving the community in 1983, providing users a comfortable place to rest, and offering preventive, developmental, and support activities. In April 2003, it became an elderly neighbourhood centre, providing a fuller range of services to the elderly in the community. They include services in the areas of health, education, social, volunteer, caretaker support, and counselling so that the elderly can enjoy community life and cultivate together a spirit of self-help and mutual assistance.

*applicants must be Hong Kong residents
Application
Please bring the following to the centre to apply: your HKID card, annual membership fees, and smart card fees (first-time applicants).
*No joining fee for Carer membership
Withdrawal
Please contact our staff and return the membership card for deregistration of membership.
義工招募
誠邀退休或社區人士，參與以下義工服務：

| 探訪 | 到戶關懷探訪區內獨居或有需要長者。 |
| 致電慰問 | 定期致電慰問區內獨居或有需要長者， 以慰問及提醒長者參與中心活動，並在有需要時轉介社工跟進。 |
| 活動協助 | 協助推行中心活動，例如健康檢查、例會、講座等。 |
| 讀報 | 閱讀報紙或長者資訊，讓長者接觸社會時事，與時並進。 |
| 當值 | 擔任當值工作，協助解答長者或社區人士一般查詢。 |
| 義務導師 | 擔任興趣班導師，例如健康運動、穿珠、手工等 |

2018-2019年度「好友益智計劃 – 認知障礙長者鄰舍支援」計劃，為輕度至中度認知障礙症的長者提供認知訓練，使他們的病況延緩。
計劃亦為護老者提供互助支援小組，舒緩護老者壓力，讓護老者建立互助支援的網絡。如對服務有任何查詢，請致電25521115與中心聯絡。
服務目的
1.減輕護老者的照顧壓力
2.讓有需要的長者獲得優質的陪老服務
服務對象
區內60歲或以上長者或需義工支援之護老者
讓曾接受護老培訓課程的義工為申請者提供下列服務，內容包括:
陪診服務
購物服務
家中陪伴
外出陪伴
日間接送
日間營膳家居煮食服務
吸納年青退休長者，鼓勵他們活到老學到老，在人生的另一階段學習新事物，培養新興趣。
培訓年青長者成為「FUN享大使」，把學到的新知識持續服務社群，用實則行動向社會大眾宣揚「退而不休」、「老有所為」訊息。
藉不同活動與社群及團體聯繫，分享開心正能量訊息，建立鄰里網絡，提昇社區友善氣氛。
-由老有所為活動計劃資助。
-由2018年5月開始至2019年12月完成。
